I tried clearing all my search history. (I went to tools, options, privacy, clear all recent history). I then tried to remove a certain website from my history but since i cleared all my history nothing was there so I actually clicked on the link, went to the website and then pressed "ignore this website". No mater what it still pops up! I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling firefox! Please heelp! I'm so embarrassed!

Hi,

This may also happen if the site has been bookmarked and if History and Bookmarks is selected beside When using the location bar, suggest in Tools (Alt + T) > Options > Privacy. You may have to delete the site from the bookmarks: Bookmarks (Alt + B) > Show All Bookmarks (Ctrl + Shift + B), start typing the site name in the top right corner Search box and if it is listed, right-click and Delete.

You can remove all stored data from a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry (Show All History or History sidebar).

That will remove everything from that server like bookmarks, cookies, passwords, cache, history, and exceptions, so be careful if you need to keep passwords or other data from that site.
