Is there any way to view two tabs at the same time w/o opening a new window?

I would like to view one tab while I am working in another. I can do it by opening one of the tabs in a new window and tiling both windows on the screen. Is there any way to do it within one window?

Chosen solution

Just installed Split Panel and it seems to do exactly what I want.

Thanks,

Hi alweiss,

You should take a look at an add-on called Tile Tabs. It will do exactly what you are suggesting. It is a little cumbersome to use at first, but once you get the feel for it you'll love the add-on.

Take a look at Find and install add-ons to add features to Firefox for detailed steps on installing add-ons.

Hopefully this helps!

(Don't know how this got in here twice. I'd like to delete it but can't figure out how to.)
