I am running FF 10.0 on OS X (Lion). I regularly get the spinning beach ball forcing me to quit firefox and restart. Any suggestions on how to trouble shoot this would be greatly appreciated.

We've got a pretty extensive troubleshooting section for Firefox hanging. You should start by taking a look there.
