I have Windows Vista in my laptop. I went to the Firefox wesite and clicked on "Free Firefox download". A page opened that contained the 3 steps of downloading Firefox. The first step told me to click on "run" button but this page did not have any "run" button and the other option "click here" brought me to the previous page that had the "free download" option that brought me back to the 3 steps page as described above. That is a vicious circle that does not allow me to start the downloading process.

Do not run the Firefox installer from the Mozilla website, but download and save the program to the desktop and start the installation with a double-click on that desktop icon.
