I'm trying to load a gadget from igoogle into my ff home page. WHen the gadget appears I keep getting and error: can't load LM data, and other error codes. This has only happened with the last severql weeks. I am lost in thrying to get the language gadget to work in FireFox. It works on IE. And on some web pages the wedges won't load. Help please

Friends, thanks for your advice. However. I guess my problem stemmed from "Real Player" that I downloaded last week and a flash player situation. A friend of mine who is a computer genius was able to help it out. It is fixed. THANKS ADAM.

Can you check the URL of your home page? The built-in home page about:home probably can't be customized. You would need to first change your home page to a Google URL.

I don't use iGoogle, so after that, I'm not sure what to suggest.

Reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.

  • Press and hold Shift and left-click the Reload button.
  • Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
  • Press "Cmd + Shift + R" (MAC)

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
