FF wouldn't load www.dictionary.com
Once again www.dictionary.com gets difficult through FF. It does load in IE and with the IE plugin for FF (IE Tab 2) as well. It already happened some months ago. At that moment someone in this forum suggested (after cleaning the cache, cookies and all the usual remedies) that I had a bug. Suggested me to run Malwarebytes on my laptop. Indeed I had a couple of undetected viruses (no aparent harm), removed them and magically after that dictionary.com loaded fine (never quite realized what is the relation between a particular safe website and a virus). But now there's no virus and the site does not want to work. Any innovative ideas? One more thing: sister webpage thesaurus.com works fine. It is always dictionary.com the one that gets lazy.

Could you please describe what kind of problem you have with dictionary.com ? It loads fine for me. You said that you had this issue before and removing the malware detected by Malwarebytes solved the problem. Did you try that solution again?
The page does not load. Yes I did run Malwarebytes and there´s nothing. I also cleaned cache and cookies. Closed program and rebooted computer as well. Thanks.
Any other suggestion from anybody? The problem persists.

Hi fergago
Try to remove the cookies file.
1.Exit firefox via File > Exit then
2.Open your Profile folder then
3.Delete or rename the cookies.sqlite file and if you find any cookies.sqlite-journal file
Don't worry, a new one (cookies folder) can be generated (the above will remove all stored cookies).
If you want to rename the cookies.sqlite file, rename it, cookies.sqlite1.
thank you
