right clicking on a flash object causes all flash objects to crash
whenever I attempt to right click on a flash movie or other flash based object the flash plugin crashes and takes all flash objects including those in other tabs with it. There does not seem to be any other problems with the plugin just that it crashes when an attempt is made to right click on any flash object.

Did you try Safe Mode or a new profile?
Does this also happen with other Firefox versions (release, beta) apart from the Nightly build that you use?
i remember this problem happening on older versions
26.0 25.0
and a few before those that i can not remember. I have not tried safe mode because i thought the bug was relatively low in importance and I forgot how to do the new profile option.
Try to create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.
See "Creating a profile":
- http://kb.mozillazine.org/Standard_diagnostic_-_Firefox#Profile_issues
If the new profile works then you can transfer some files from an existing profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over the problem.
You can check for problems with current Flash plugin versions and try these:
- disable a possible RealPlayer Browser Record Plugin extension for Firefox and update the RealPlayer if installed
- disable protected mode in the Flash plugin (Flash 11.3+ on Windows Vista and later)
- disable hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin
In another thread last week, some users reported a persistent issue with the new Flash 11.9. You could try rolling back to Flash 11.8. Please see: Flash player keeps giving error.
just tried rolling back to flash 8 and nope it still has problems
im going to try the profile option now
the profile option did not work
the protected mode option did not work either
Hi jfmherokiller, can you post some of the crash IDs you got after disabling protected mode? This article describes how to submit the crash data to Mozilla (if you turned that off) and get the IDs that allow volunteers to see your crash data: Troubleshoot Firefox crashes (closing or quitting unexpectedly) (last section)

Since you are being a Tester with the unstable Nightly builds 27.0a1 and with the not supported Win64 builds (Win32 are supported) there is a bug report on this for reading as Bugzilla is not a discussion forum.
Bug 915217 - win64 APPCRASH in plugin-container.exe upon right click on flash object
The 32-bit Nightly builds should not crash. You do not need 64-bit Firefox to use it on Win64.

should i now set the problem as solved because it is unsupported?
The issue with Win64 Firefox Nightlies not being supported is that it is not a priority to get things fixed on it right away like the supported Win32 and other listed supported builds are done.
Either you can can continue to use the Win64 Nightlies and try to avoid right-clicking on Flash issue or use the 32-bit Nightly though you will need 32-bit Plugins for them to work.
Note that Nighty builds are not meant for regular users and since they get checkins pretty much everyday, they get a update each of those days with sometimes a respin that day.
