I am migrating from Windows XP to Linux Mint on a separate computer which came with Firefox pre-installed. The latter appeared to work well until the lack of a Bookmark tab alerted me to the fact that I had no Menu bar. I have tried all the solutions I can find but to no avail. Right-clicking the Tab bar, for example, yields only 'Hide Toolbars' and 'Exit Full Screen Mode' as the drop-down options whilst right-clicking anywhere else on the screen also fails to reveal the Taskbar Hide/Show options. Without the Menu bar I obviously have no Customize option and for similar reasons have been forced to use an alternative Windows XP computer to send this report. Clearly, no additional information relating to the operation of Firefox on this computer will be of use in troubleshooting the situation on my Linux machine.

Chosen solution

If you are in full screen mode then hover the mouse to the top of the screen to make the Navigation Toolbar and Tab bar appear.
Click the Maximize button (top right corner of the Navigation Toolbar) to leave full screen mode or right-click empty space on a toolbar and choose "Exit Full Screen Mode" or press the F11 key.
