I installed Firefox today, When I open the icon I get a Google box. I uninstalled Google and Firefox, then reinstalled Firefox. I still get the Google box. What can I do?

Chosen solution

Google is the default search engine in Firefox. If you want to use a different search engine, just select a different search engine on the right side of the navigation bar. That setting should hold after you change it.

You can set a different home page if you do not want to see the built-in about:home page.
