when i export my bookmarks to an html file, in order to transfer them from my old pc to my new mac, will the bookmarks erase from my firefox window on my pc? I don't want to lose them from the pc as I still use it.

No. It just makes a copy.

Make sure to leave the files in the Firefox profile folder on the old PC and only copy the files that you need.

You can also consider to copy the places.sqlite file to have the bookmarks and the history. This will however replace all the current bookmarks on the Mac.
