When I update the date, time, title, or description of an Event on my calendar the invited attendees are not informed. Is this a bug?
When I update the date, time, title, or description of an Event on my calendar the invited attendees are not informed. I have to copy the event, then delete and paste the event to generate an update event invitation email to the attendees. This use to work. Was a change made that now requires me to delete and re-create the event in order to update my attendees? Or, is this a bug?

I think your using a step to far. I am not a calendar user as such, but I added a couple of addresses to an even and then modified the event. In due course an updated email arrived advising of "Updated invitation"
I been using Lightning for years. In the past when I updated the attendees list, description, title, location or category the attendees were informed by an update email. I have noticed in the last two or three updates to Lightning that when such changes are made the update email is not sent. I must now delete the event and re-create it by pasting it back and this causes an update email to be sent.
have any other add-ons installed? Work for me and not you sounds like an add-on issue.

I have no extensions other than Lightning 2.6.4 added to Thunderbird 24.4.0.
The Appearance is: Default 24.4.0
The Dictionaries are: United States English Spellchecker 7.0.1
And, the Plugins are listed in the attached image.
