I have tried the solutions posted. I have reduced layout.css.devPixelsPerPx to -3 but anything further does not affect anything. I also downloaded the zoom text and page tools, but they do not stay when I leave a page. I realy need to reduce the screen size permanently. Also, I cannot find a resolution for my monitor that fits either. Does anyone know what I did and how to fix it? This is really annoying....

It sounds like you're having trouble with Firefox for Desktop, instead of Firefox OS. I'd recommend contacting the Firefox for Desktop support forum here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/new/desktop ; they'll be more knowledgeable and better able to answer your questions than the volunteers here at the Firefox OS forum.
