I used to be able to right-click on a link and ask for it to be opened in another tab. That option is on the right-click menu, but nothing happens. I am using Windows XP, Firefox 36.04

Hi kauricat, since your Windows identifies itself as "Windows NT 4.10" (Windows 98) instead of Windows XP, could you check something. Right-click your Firefox program shortcut, choose Properties, then the Compatibility tab. If anything is selected here, deselect it, you don't want Firefox to run without the full capabilities of Windows XP. If you made changes, try exiting Firefox and starting it up again to see whether it makes any difference.

Hi kauricat, thank you for reporting back. Wherever that old "fix" is posted we need to update it ASAP.

The fix was NOT on this support forum. I will try to find it via Google, which is how I found it in the first place. And I will try to remove it.
