I have Verizon FiOS at home. Thunderbird stopped working recently. Every action results in a server timeout on all of my 7 email accounts. Everything is configured properly. Timeout happens whether I'm hardwired into the router via CAT 5E or I'm connecting through WiFi. I can connect to my email through the web - just not through Thunderbird.

I connect on my neighbors WiFi - works fine. If I connect using the mobile hotspot on my Verizon cellphone - works fine. I bring my laptop to work and connect to a Verizon FiOS router - works fine. I'm near some smoke signals - works fine.

Just doesn't work at home - but it used to. I'm assuming it's a strange router problem. Any help would be appreciated!

I have seen a couple of threads on here where the new ports Verizon switched to are blocked in their older modem/routers. You might check with Verizon and see if you need a modem upgrade.
