Can you locate multiple copies of abook.mab (personal address book) or history.mab (Collected addresses)?
you have already lost me! where do I find those??
you will normally find them in the root of your Thunderbird profile.
Normally instructions to locate it would be the following
- Click on the menu button or menu bar.
- From the Help menu, click Troubleshooting Information.
- In the Application Basics section, Profile Folder, click on Show Folder .
- The Windows Explorer/Finder will show the name of the profile as well as the path to it.
Unfortunately in this instance I have no idea where OSX would have placed such files or folders while the transfer occurred.
