I am having my computer serviced and was told he would most likely clear my computer. Will that affect Thunderbird 38.0 I am backing up my data on a flash drive, but was not certain if the folders on my Thunderbird account with transfer to a thumb drive. You need to have a copy of your profile. In your case, it's probably under Documents and Settings... Application Data.

Search this forum for "Profiles TB" to find articles about the profile and its location.
