How do I get rid of a bookmark separator?
I want to sort all of my bookmarks so I can eliminate duplicates and old junk. In the middle of the bookmark file, there is a separator. Above the separator, the bookmarks are nicely sorted. Below the separator, they're a mixed-up mess. I want to get rid of that separator.

You can open the Bookmarks Manager (Library; Show All Bookmarks) and remove the separators in the right pane. You need to open the Bookmarks Toolbar folder via the left pane if the separators are on the toolbar.
Thank you, FredMcg and cor-el! I have now got all of my bookmarks sorted into one large file and am busy eliminating duplicates and out-of-date items.
In case anybody is interested, I recommend the extension AutoSortBookmarksfor the sort task.
