When I follow a link (alternet for example) many copies of the link are placed into the backup list (shown by a right click on the left pointing arrow in upper left corner) . I am lucky if the stack doesn't overflow. Not all sites do it. The multiple copies appear to be related to the number times I press the down-arrow or scroll when reading the page/s. Running Ubuntu on a Dell 1545 now but happens with Lenovo PC as well using latest upgrade of Firefox.

You may not notice, but sometimes a link is re-directed to another. And sometimes even other redirects after that.

Its the same link. The redirect is typical of CNET but this is much worse there will be 10 to 30 links. The problem seems to be related to the size of the page, using page down or the down arrow to view the page adds more links.I will try to duplicate it with another browser.
