After reading Nicholas Nethercote's blogpost on using Nightly, I gave it a shot. I know you can always download Nightly from https://nightly.mozilla.org/. But is this where the latest Nightly is posted? If not, where can I download it manually?

I am asking because it wasn't until 6-7 AM PST today (Wed, 25 May) that I was able to update to the latest nightly from within the Firefox help menu. I know from months on Aurora, that the link to download manually is posted a few hours before it is available via the manual update check.

I'd like to know where to go, if the manual update check from within the FF help menu doesn't notify me of an update---where I can go to download it myself.

The Nightly builds will give you a update in a manual check when it is built and up on servers. Checkins happens almost everyday so it gets a update each of those days with a rare respin the same day.

If you use Nightly you should make sure it is using its own Profile separate from other builds like the Release and not shared.

A place many Nightly Testers observe or hang out is the Nightly threads in Firefox Builds section at http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewforum.php?f=23

Like the Aurora (developer edition) sometimes there can be issues in Nightly channel after checkin(s) land until it is fixed, finished, or reverted.
