I do now want to upgrade to a new IPod when the one I have now works fine, for the most part. I just wondered if FireFox will ever have an IOS browser that will work with IOS 6.1.6? all you need to do is uninstall the app that you tried to install it on and reinstall both from there

The Firefox shell browser for iOS devices needs at least iOS 8.2 at minimum. For the private browsing feature you need iOS 9.0 and newer.

Mozilla is making use of modern API's that are only available on newer versions of iOS.
