E-Mails sending does not work anymore
Hi all,
I had a perfectly working installation of Thunderbird. Suddenly I can not send e-mails anymore. I think it is related to an update of Thunderbird but that's just my best guess. I did not change any settings (but of course crosschecked them).
When I press the send button nothing happen anymore. Usually I was asked for my password but that does not happen anymore. When I then exit Thunderbird and close the e-mail Thunderbird states it is busy saving the e-mail.
Too me it sound pretty much like this issue here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1120568
I think I even see the same message in the Error Console but I don understand it...
I am using: Ubuntu Version 14.04 LTS x64 Thunderbird Version 45.2.0 No Antivirus No Firewall
The SMPT Server settings are attached.
Is there any solution available?
Best regards, Benjamin

There is not much to tell about the information you didn't obfuscate. 'Encrypted Password' is seldom used, so make sure that is correct.

Hi christ1,
I changed it to "password, normal" and now sending e-mail works again.
This seems very strange to me as I can not remember that I have changed anything. But probably I did this somehow accidentally.
Thanks for your kind and swift help.
Best regards.
