Will my reloaded Desktop shortcut to Firefox still "work" regarding my Bookmarks, apps, etc. after I "reload" Win. 10?
I'm reloading Windows 10 to hopefully clear up some issues. I've saved copies of my files including My Desktop, which has my Shortcut to Firefox. After the reinstall and after reloading My Desktop, will my (old) shortcut to Firefox still work regarding my bookmarks, apps, settings, etc? Thanks!!!

Please note that a desktop shortcut simply points to the installation folder for Firefox, so it does not contain any settings or user data.
Some users have reported issues with Firefox after upgrading or reinstalling Windows 10, so it is highly recommended that you backup your Firefox profile before beginning the Windows 10 installation. The Firefox profile is the folder that contains your user data and settings, so this is the file that you would want to protect.
Copy the profile folder to an external media device, that way if Firefox needs to be reinstalled after updating Windows 10, you can restore your data.
I'm not sure what is involved in reloading Windows 10. When you upgrade from Windows 7 or 8 or 8.1 to Windows 10, you have several choices for what to do with your old data, including leaving it in place, moving it to a temporary folder, or deleting it. If given the choice, choose to leave it in place for the smoothest transition.
