I am trying to login on a new computer and cannot. i cannot receive the verificaion
I need to login on a new pc to sync. Mozilla wants to send me an email to the email address, which I no longer have access to. I also need to update my email address to a current one. What can I do?

Currently there is no way to change the email address for a Sync account (aka Firefox Account). The email address is the "username" for the Firefox Account; as such it can't be changed.
As Fred mentioned, create a new Firefox Account to continue using Sync. You will need to use an older device that has your "Sync data" when setting up the new Firefox Account. Once your data is "sync'd" to the Sync server, then connect that new device.

Is there anything on the sync you are trying to recover?
It would be best to close the old sync and create a new one.
