Exported PC based Address Book as csv file. Somehow got it to load in my new mac mini. Addresses appear in a file called Mac Address Book 1 but the Thunderbird on my iMac doesn't "find" this file. Is there a way to point Thunderbird to use this Address Book?

even once you get it working, the mac address book is read only. hardly state you want for a main address book.

I suggest you import the csv to Thunderbird instead of the mac address book.

Actually I thought I had exported the Address Book from Thunderbird on my PC and imported it into Thunderbird on my Mac Mini. But it showed up in "Mac Address Book 1" . What I want is to be able to type a few letters of friends' names when sending Emails and have their full email addresses automatically load into the "To: " field. Bob
