Are you using any color or display changing add-ons?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox. A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).

Is the problem still there?

Note that a website can override these default settings.

Try the Firefox version from the official Mozilla server if you currently use a version from the repositories of your Linux distribution.

I too am having this same problem. FF 53.0.

Yes I still have the problem even if I start in Safe mode. FF 53.0 Win 7 x64
