imported address books from another computer, they show under all address books, but nothing shows up when I click one. How do I get to the names and addresses?

I had multiple address books in T-bird on another computer and imported them to my new computer. "All address books" contains names (not sure if it's complete). The titles of other "sub" address books show below "all address books" but do not show any lists. I stuck with Thunderbird because I wanted the address books. Is there a way to get them?
