after a webpage is opened, there is no need for the bookmarks toolbar to further show itself. It takes space of the browsing. Please refer to how Chrome deals with auto-hiding the bookmarks bar. And I think persisting bookmarks bar is annoying.

Hi

If you select Customise from the three bar "hamburger" menu, you can add or remove toolbars (such as the bookmarks bar) and also add the "Show your bookmarks" icon to the toolbar which will allow to see and use bookmarks as you described.

I hope that this helps, but if not, please come back here and we can look into a different solution for you.
