Coming from Chrome, one of the features I used to create "Desktop Web Apps" for myself is by saving pages to desktop. Chrome also gives you the option to open as Window, meaning when you double click on the shortcut it will open up as a new window, and without the address bar or anything up top, very minimalist.

Want to know whether Firefox has this capability as well, either built in or via Addons Thanks in advance

Update: Sorry for the confusion, just want to be clear, I am not trying to save an HTML File, but rather Create a Shortcut on my desktop/taskbar which can open the webpage as a browser Window. The end result would be, double clicking on this shortcut will take me directly to a specific page, and the window will also be "boarderless", where you won't have all the junk up top, such as back/forward button, refresh, home, address bar, plugin, etc. Only "Minimize", "Maximize" and "Close"

I would suggest making a folder for the pages you save as will download all it can get it's hands on and no will not work that way.

Mouse to top of Browser and Right Click and Click Menu Bar. Under File is save pages as .
