Restore previous session button
Hi,
after updating to Firefox 61.0.1 (64bit) the "restore previous session" button has gone away again.
it is quite annoying because it is usefull to have this function available without having to drop down a menu and I do not really understand why they change this setting every time they release a new update.
After the previous update, I found out a solution by manually setting the "browser.tabs.restorebutton" to 1 in "about:config". This setting is now unchanged, but the restore button near the "new tab" buttun has gone.
Is there any solution?
Thanks

Hi, so that setting is gone or just does not work anymore ? If it does not work anymore I suggest reverse what you did.
uninstall Firefox. Then Delete the Mozilla Firefox Folders in C:\Program Files , C:\Program Files(x86) & C:\ProgramData Then restart system. Then run Windows Disk Cleanup. (Note: This should be Pinned and run Weekly, If never done below expect 10's of gig's) Then run it again and click the button that says Cleanup System Files. Note: your Firefox Profile is saved. But you should make a back up before you do :

Reinstall with Current Release Firefox 61.0.1 with a Full Version Installer
Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.
Note that support for browser.tabs.restorebutton has been removed in Firefox 61. pref.browser.homepage.disable_button.restore_default

pref.browser.homepage.disable_button.restore_default is set to false in my preferences.
The pref.browser.homepage.disable_button prefs are meant for enterprises and allow them to lock and disable specific button on the "Options/Preferences -> Home" page. These prefs wouldn't be there normally unless policies are used.
