When I open Options tab and scroll down to Applications, none of the Microsoft Office applications are shown so when I go to download a file that's an Office app, I can't download it as a Microsoft Office file. I just purchased a new computer, downloaded the Office applications and activated them.

I solved my issue - I hadn't deactivated Office365 from my prior laptop to install it on this new one - problem solved!
