How can I get the tabs back that were rounded in the default theme from version 56.0.2
I need the rounded tabs as I keep multiple tabs open and need the space in between to be able to move my windows around. It also provided space across the top of the tabs to be able to also move the windows. Plus I hate the squared off sharp tabs. The exact tabs I'm looking for were the default tabs that you had on version 56.0.2.

Hi LisaMichelleS, as you probably have discovered, there's no built-in setting to change the shape of the tabs. You can do it by applying custom style rules to the tab bar, through an optional userChrome.css file. If it's your first time hearing about this option, you'll need to set aside 15 minutes for the project.
(A) Download the Style recipe
For rounded tabs, you can download a file from this project:
https://github.com/wilfredwee/photon-australis
You can right-click > Save Link As on the relevant file:
- If you use a Light theme: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/wilfredwee/photon-australis/master/userChrome-light.css
- If you use a Dark theme: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/wilfredwee/photon-australis/master/userChrome-dark.css
(B) Open download folder
Use the downloads list on the toolbar to open the downloads folder directly to the new userChrome.css file. (See attached sample screenshot)
Set Windows to show all file extension so you can see the .css on CSS files: https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/how-to-show-file-extensions-in-windows/
Right-click the file and remove the -light or -dark from the name so it's just userChrome.css.
Minimize that Windows Explorer window for later reference.
(C) Create a new chrome
folder in your profile folder
The following article has the detailed steps for that (#1, #2, and I recommend #3)
https://www.userchrome.org/how-create-userchrome-css.html
I have videos for both Windows and Mac in case the text is not clear.
(D) Move the userChrome.css
file you renamed in Step B into the chrome
folder you created in Step C
The next time you exit Firefox and start it up again, it should discover that file and apply the rules. Like the second screenshot.
So far so good?
Thank you so very much I will try it shortly, wish me luck! I have held onto 56.0.2 all this time because of this if you can believe that...i'm probably the last one on the planet to update. LOL
I am also hoping to get my new tab page to have the Top Sites also to look like they used to on 56.0.2. I already went in and added through several crazy steps more rows like it used to have but now I'm trying to get the boxes bigger and looking like they did on 56.0.2?
Can this be done?

Hi LisaMichelleS, for the larger "Top Sites" tiles, could you check this thread:
