My wife's Thunderbird stopped downloading last month. She can still log in and see new emails through the ISP web site, but the Thunderbird download just hangs. I erased the last file (12/26) and had her erase the file just after that in case they had some funky characters causing the problem. No change. I have backed up all her emails (twice) and moved them to a local folder. I erased the inbox and inbox.msf files and restarted Thunderbird. The automatic download still failed to download any emails, even to the empty inbox file. The green bar on the bottom of the screen seems to indicate that something is operating in Thunderbird (see attached image), but I have no idea how to stop it so the download can work. We've been using Thunderbird for 12 years or so. Currently version 60.4. You can reach me at @sbcglobal.net
