Possible to uninstall all extensions via Windows GPO?
I am managing Firefox in a K-12 Windows environment. We are already using the new GPO settings for Firefox for things like proxy configuration and SSO. We have started to have issues where users are accidentally installing extensions from questionable publishers that control new tab pages and the user's search engines.
I just blocked add-on installations entirely by disabling the "Allow add-on installs from web sites" setting. That is working as expected. However, the problematic extensions are still installed.
Chrome has the ability to block all extension IDs except for ones that are in a white list. This setting also removes all extensions that the user may have installed before that setting took effect. Is this possible in Firefox? If not, can I use a wildcard or something similar to tell Firefox to uninstall all extensions? The GPO setting I am referencing is "Extensions to Uninstall". Because we have so many users, it seems like it would be quite the task to obtain the IDs of all of these problematic extensions.
