I get my emails on Thunderbird through Comcast. 2 days ago I had to change my Comcast password. After I did, almost every time I tried to get messages or send an email from Thunderbird I was asked for my password. After 2 days of this I called Comcast for help. One of their reps told me to"account actions" (in Thunderbird) and choose "remove account" After he assured me several times that I would not lose my emails, I stupidly did as he said. When I then chose "add mail account" I discovered that all my emails disappeared, as did my saved files. I spoke to many reps and supervisors since then and was assured I would get them back but it never happened. Finally, today, I spoke to a rep who told me that it can't be restored by Comcast. I want to know if the information exists somewhere on Thunderbird
