Firefox 66.0.4 seems to being pushed out and resolve the disabled addons. When updating to 66.0.4, will there be any settings that will change in Firefox and addons? Do you need to install a fresh install of Firefox 66.0.4 to work properly? Same with addons?

Hello FFAXX.

All you need to to is to update to version 66.0.4 ....

If you haven't already, go to 3-bar menu => Help => About Firefox - you should be ready to update now (or any minute).

After that everything should be back to normal.

Hi ttles714, currently there's no update for Firefox 56. There was a note on Twitter that Mozilla may release something for unsupported versions, but for the time being, you would need to install the new certificate for verifying extension signatures a different way, such as installing manually. For an unsupported approach, see: https://support.mozilla.org/questions/1258165#answer-1218833
