Hi when the Thunderbird update runs, it changes my installed language, which is dutch, to english. Then I have to re-install the dutch version of Thunderbird and all is back in dutch again. Is there a way that I could change a setting, so the update of Thunderbird runs the dutch version?

An update shouldn't change the language of the Thunderbird version you installed .....

Are you sure that you downloaded Thunderbird in Dutch from here :

I use the link on the dutch Thunderbird site: https://www.thunderbird.net/nl/ but this uses the same url to download the installation file as the link above.

The only setting I can think of :

Tools => Options => Composition => Spelling => Language :

select Dutch as the default language.

But why this would change after a Thunderbird update is beyond me.

I hope somebody else will come up with a proper answer (sorry .... )
