The Firefox Manage Permissions List in Cookies and Site Data lost its two listed "Allow" sites for unknown reasons. Cookies are unchecked in Settings for Clear History when Firefox closes, so they were not erased that way. Ccleaner did not do it. Both PCs in one house have the same sudden and unexpected problem. Could a Firefox update have deleted these items? Is there any other likely causes? There are no children or visitors using these two PCs (Windows 10), so it was not an unknown user. I am not aware of a Windows update.

Exceptions are part of the Site Preferences, so make sure to keep Site Preferences.

  • clearing "Site Preferences" clears exceptions for cookies, images, pop-up windows, and software installation and exception for password and other website specific data

Thank you. The point is good to know, but I did have Site Preferences unchecked as well, along with Cookies, all of the other Settings are checked.

The answer above by co-rel does solve my problem after all. In CCleaner under Applications tab and Firefox, I had checked clearing Site Preferences. Unchecking it appears to solve the problem, but I will test it more tomorrow.
