At every login screen where Firefox suggests saved logins, old out of date logins are included. I wish Firefox could just offer me 1 last used option. Or at least keep the last used login on top of the list. Now the last used and older logins just appear randomly in a list.

Hello td540,

Would you try this please :

Click the (empty) input field on the web page to open the drop-down list. Then highlight an entry in the drop-down list using the cursor Down key (arrow key). (Don't click the mouse and don't press Enter)

Press the Shift + Delete keys to delete the highlighted entry.

Repeat till only the correct username is left. (Don't click the mouse and don't press Enter)

(Hovering with the mouse no longer works)

Does that work for you  ?

You can also try to set this pref to false on the about:config page.

  • signon.includeOtherSubdomainsInLookup = false

You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I accept the risk!" to continue.
