I've literally checked everything, reinstalled firefox, checked audio, set default audio, etc etc.

Every other browser plays audio, every game plays audio, every media player on my pc plays audio.

I can see the firefox audio going up and down like it wants to play but nothing is coming out. I'm a tech savy guy with computers and I can't even get this to work! It's stressing me out, started 2 days ago and hasn't gone away, didn't install anything new either.

I've double checked and triple checked my computers audio settings, even did a remove performance thing within firefox that says it can fix. doesn't.
