Menu issues with a site in FF but not in Safari
I use a site for business which has a static menu across the top of the page which for a long time has worked just fine. Now since the last update in FF, the menu is no longer there, but a square button appears on the right. When clicked a page opens in the same tab and it has the missing menu items there. However when you move your mouse to click on the one I want, any menu item your mouse crosses automatically opens which takes you away from the menu page. Frustrating to say the least. What do I need to do to get the original menu back where it belongs? Keep in mind the site works fine as before. This problem happened with the last FF update.

You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:
You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
- hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
- press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
- press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
Clear the Cache and remove the Cookies for websites that cause problems via the "3-bar" Firefox menu button (Options/Preferences).
"Remove the Cookies" for websites that cause problems:
- Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security
Cookies and Site Data: "Manage Data"
"Clear the Cache":
- Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security
Cookies and Site Data -> Clear Data -> Cached Web Content: Clear
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration or userChrome.css is causing the problem.
- switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Themes
- do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window

This is a little hard to visualize but it sounds like a mobile menu layout instead of a desktop menu layout.
If you reduce the zoom on the page --
hold down the Command key and tap the minus key once or twice
-- does the full menu appear? If so, the page probably has a "responsive" layout that modifies its appearance based on resolution. But I don't know why it would change suddenly after an update. ??
Awesome! Thank you so much! I forgot to check that. So glad I don't have to replace FF, I have used it for years and I love it. So glad this fixed it. You're the best! Thanks again! God Bless You!
