This is new. Something changed. I have always been able to open an attachment, be it Word, PDF or whatever. Just in the last couple of days, instead, it immediately asks me where to save. I don't want to save, just to open, look, maybe print. It forces me to save on the desktop - then open - then discard or print. What happened? What changed?

I think I found the answer under "How Firefox handles files...." I don't know how that spontaneously got changed to "save" - but I switched it.
