Secure Connection Failed Error Message

more options

Everytime I put anything in the Google search box in the middle of the screen I get "Secure Connection Failed Error Message." It doesn't matter what site i search for. I even tried to search "CNN" and it still gave me "Secure connection Error". But if I put "CNN" in the web browser then I get connected with no problem.

Hi ahmad.khatri, this can indicate that there is a "man in the middle" of your connection to Google.

If you click the "Advanced" button on the secure connection error page, a section of technical information should appear. You can compare the code (often looks similar to SEC_ERROR_TYPE) with the suggestions in the following article:

How to troubleshoot security error codes on secure websites

Is anything there helpful?
