I installed Darko ("Simple dark mode for your Thunderbird messages.") but it only changes the theme in the main window/tab of Thunderbird. E.g. If I try to reply to mail in a new window or open the add-ons manager, it is not enabled there. There is no button like in the main tab with a moon symbol and Darko written next to it.

How can I enable this add-on anywhere? Or what do I need to have a dark theme EVERYWHERE in Thunderbird?

You could try using the built in Dark Theme.

That doesn't do anything at all. That's why I looked for a dark theme in the first place.
