In the previous Firefox version the pinned shortcuts were displayed as sites, that way they were easily discernible. Now they are shortened to small icons, some of which do not have their own specific icon, so they are shown as a letter and it is hard to identify what I am looking at. Is there a way to put in back the site display as it was in the previous version?

You can edit a specific tile via the menu that you can open via the three dots that appear if you hover a tile and add a custom image. Best is to pin such a tile.
