I tried to drag and drop email attachments into File Explorer files in Windows 11, but it denies access. I can Save As into the files, but not highlight, drag and drop. It worked in Windows 10, but not Windows 11. Is this a compatibility issue? or is there a fix in a Thunderbird Setting?

Thanks.

Update...

I've now found I can drag and drop onto an open email... BUT... On Windows 10 I used to be able to drag files onto the Thunderbird icon on the title bar, then choose the email from the displayed open emails, and then drag onto that email. Now, with Windows 11, when I try to drag files onto the Thunderbird icon on the title bar, I get a Prohibited icon instead... so I have to find the open email page and drag my files directly there. It's less convenient.

Is this a Windows 11 problem? or a Thunderbird issue? Can I change a setting to make this work?

Thanks for any help you can offer...
