I using Thuderbird 60.9.0 (32-bit), as I'm stuck on 32-bit Ubuntu which is no longer updated. My Gmail accounts no longer accept the "Normal password" authentication method and are insisting on OAuth 2.0.

I've found the page that claims OAuth2 was added to Thunderbird 38.0. I also found instructions for setting up OAuth 2.0 in Thunderbird.

However, when I go to Account Setting : Sever Settings the ONLY options are Normal password, Encrypted password, Kerberos / GSSAPI. and NTLM. That, in spite of the fact that the SMTP server has those options PLUS OAuth2.
