Can't retrieve mail from Godaddy MS Workspace Outlook
I'm using release 102.2.2. My domain and email are hosted at GoDaddy (GD). After moving to a new house on Aug. 30, Thunderbird (TB for short) on my MS laptop can't connect to the account at GD. I use a pw manager and get the error [Enter your password for xxxxxxx.com on outlook.office365.com:"] Entering the pw stored in my password manager for other sites is working well, including this one at Mozilla. The stored login to GD email goes to my inbox on the GD Outlook server, so I assume the GD password works there but it doesn't for the account on TB. GD email imap/pop settings are in the attached image. What can I try next?

GD live support says to use the Equilla and/or Owl. I installed these extensions and neither can connect to the GD Outlook email server. Still asking for a password and when entered it fails. Could I work around this problem if I deleted/re-installed TB using my account at the GD email host? Would that cause my email history including folders to be downloaded to TB and avoid losing years of history? Before I would do that I would like to know how I can backup my TB email files just in case.
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help
Unfortunately, there is no further discussion on this support request. GoDaddy said it might be a change in their latest MS mail server but I don't see similar issues on their support page.
The following is directed to the TB development team who I hope will see this: The inability to have TB connect with the MS Workforce/Outlook mailbox is a real issue that makes my work and personal life too complicated and time consuming. Equila and Owl don't work. I want TB to continue to grow but the contribution I ust made will be my last and I'll have to move on to another mail client if the team can't find a way to support this simple request.
Hello

You have not provided any specific info about your config or problem. From the screenshot you provided, I can't even say if your account is based on Imap or Pop3. Steps to go forward are different. I don't know why or how you would need some plugin to connect - if you are controlling the domain, why do you want this hassle ? If you need some calendar sharing, you may need the Owl plugin to connect as an Exchange client, but in this case you should address your support question to the plugin's editor, whom you are paying.
