How fix/prevent/remove BLACK section of MAC screen on each CNN Firefox page? Only on CNN website.

I have a large (1/3 of screen) black section at the top of each of my Firefox screens for CNN which will move upwards if I scroll but never goes away. Only comes on CNN page. Don't know how to remove it? See image attached below. Very grateful for help in removing this black section of screen. It may be some sort of advertising section?

That is the ads sections of the site. Your using some kinda adblocker and that is what is causing that black bar across the top. This isn't a Firefox issue but whatever Addon blocker your using to fix that issue there.

I don't know why that top panel ad doesn't load more quickly. Maybe they did something fancy and didn't test it on Firefox? Or the first ad doesn't load so I just see a second one that rotates in?

It reminds me of another thread for a test site where certain ad-related connections were failing (and this varied from one reload to the next), without a clear explanation of why. That wasn't resolved.

Fortunately, as I scroll down the page, the ad part scrolls away leaving just the top menu bar items. Does yours also work that way?
