Uninstall helper.exe is missing. Where can I get to in order to be able to uninstall firefox?
Hi!
I want to uninistall my firefox application, but unfortunately the folder in C:/Users/XXX/AppData/Local/Mozialla Firefox/ is empty, so I cannot uninstall it. I tried downloading again and then uninstalling, but did not help. Can I manually add the .../uninstall/helper.exe in order to completely remove the application from my Windows Computer?
I takes up a lot of space on my memory disk, so I want to remove it, but can't.
Thanks a lot in advance

The helper.exe file is located in the Firefox installation folder and not in "AppData\Local" or "AppData\Roaming", those locations are used for the profile folder where Firefox stores your personal data.
- (64-bit Firefox) "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\"
Hi @cor-el,
thanks for that answer. Unfortunately that folder - for some reason - is almost empty as well. There's only a "defaults" folder (with a prefs java script file) and a kl-config file. What can I do to uninstall Firefox then?
I think you should consider using an app called Uninstall Tool (Not sponsored, learned of this from a friend). One of my friends hated Microsoft Edge and all the bloatware Microsoft installs on Windows 10 so he used this tool to uninstall Microsoft Edge. It worked quite well, but it did not delete certain traces of the app (empty MSEdge directories).
