this procedure is for firefox 12 1. In new tab/browser, type 'about:config' 2. if get warning window, click 'i'll be careful' 3. in search line, type 'tab' 4. in 'browser.newtab.url', typ 'about:home' 5. close window & open new tab to have new tab open the homepage 6. thanx
